How do trade business mission in the country changes with the health department
Business mission will arrive to Peru to finalize deals with about 60 companies in the health sector.
Some 16 Brazilian businesspersons arrive to Peru on a trade mission to build businesses around U.S. $ 900 billion with 60 Peruvian companies in the next 12 months in the health sector within the framework of the Business Roundtable Brazil Peru Medical and Dental Equipment, to be held on September 27 in Lima Nonvoter.
Tarsus Evangelista, coordinator of the mission organized by the Brazilian Association of the Sporting Goods Industry and Medical Equipment, Dental, Hospital and Laboratory (ABIMO) of Brazil, said this reflects the fact that Peru is the date the eighth most important country for the industry of medical and dental teams in the country, projected to occupy a better place in the following years.
“Peru has become one of the leading countries in the region to provide quality health services and very competitive costs. The Brazilian industry can help meet the growing demand for medical-dental equipment with new business alliances, “said Tarsus.
The business conference is aimed at importers, distributors and representatives of the medical and dental equipment. In addition, Brazilian companies will participate in the conference business and export to over 30 countries, mainly from Europe and Latin America.
It is noteworthy that 3% of all exports of medical and dental equipment is destined for Brazil Peru, about U.S. $ 17.1 million (according to figures from 2009), which in turn represents 8% of total Peruvian market in this area.
It is important to add that a recent study by the World Health Organization (WHO) ranks Brazil as the second largest producer of medical equipment among developing countries, reinforcing the importance of the business conference between employers and Peruvian Brazilians.
In 2009, these companies sold $ 2.6 billion to 180 countries, consolidating Brazil as one of the major global players in the field of medical-dental equipment, noted for its constant technology innovation and certification process of their enterprises.
Axiom’s visit is part of an international project called Brazilian Medical and Dental Devices (BMDD), which is supported by the Brazilian Agency for Export and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brazil).
This initiative created in 2003 has helped to promote exports and strengthen the image of the medical industry and dental Brazilian hospital abroad, which generated a 40% increase in the balance of the sector’s foreign sales from U.S. $ 222 million to $ 581 million in the last seven years. EFE
