How to price a deal between the company and the International Business Machines Corp
IBM plans to buy Blade Network Technologies, a private firm that specializes in the transfer of information in data centers, in the midst of a war of big technology firms to offer services that are more advanced.
International Business Machines Corp did not disclose the price of the deal, which joins the firm announced last week and offered 1,700 million dollars for the data analysis firm Natasha Corp.
Monday’s announcement comes at a time when rivals such as IBM and Hewlett-Packard Co., Oracle Corp. and Cisco Systems Inc are developing or acquiring new technologies in response to customer demand for cheaper and better ways to manage their schools data.
