INEGI Unveils Producer Confidence Indicator (CPI) for the month of September this year. The ICP is made with the results of the Monthly Survey of Business Opinion (EMOE), which allows knowing, almost immediately after the end of the reference month, the views of business leaders on the economic situation that occurs both in the country as in its companies
The Producer Confidence Indicator reported a monthly decline of (-) 0.06 points in September compared to August this year. At the interior, the components that realize the right time to invest, the country’s future economic situation, and the company saw monthly declines, while referring to the country’s present economic situation and the company showed increases
In its annual comparison, the ninth month of 2010 the CPI stood at 50.8 points, which represented an increase of 12.3 points compared to the level achieved in the same month in 2009 when it was 38.5 points
The National Institute of Statistics and Geography Unveils Producer Confidence Indicator (ICP) which consists of the perception of business managers in the manufacturing sector on the economic situation that occurs in the home and business. It is published monthly and is prepared based on the results of the Monthly Survey of Business Opinion (EMOE).
