The City of Cartage and Micro bank have signed a collaboration agreement in order to facilitate access to funding to help launch new businesses, with the aim of promoting the creation and consolidation of empleo.La mayor of Cartage, Pillar Barrier, and Micro Bank commercial director, Ramón Gael, this morning signed a collaboration agreement with the purpose of financing projects through micro-credit business. The agreement between the municipality and Micro Bank establishes a new credit line targeting both entrepreneurs and the self-employed and people with innovative projects, as well as the most vulnerable who are financially excluded. Micro Bank credit will invest up to one million euros.

Local Development Agency and Employment (ALDE), explained Micro Bank director will be responsible for coordinating the Micro credit Committee of the City of Cartage, formed by the Department of Youth and Employment, Women, Social Services and that ADLE basic consider the execution of this agreement, to be the key to funding the start-up businesses.

The need for this service, explained Pillar Barrier, is based on the high demand for the creation and consolidation have had the business and employment department of the Agency ADLE, tripling the users of business advice so far in 2010 compared the previous. Also, he added, is based on consultations ranging from business idea to the viability of the business plan and advice on grants and financial alternatives, among which are:

* Information about the various financing alternatives.
* Information on different legal forms
* Check Information Entrepreneur.
* Advice on the permit application for self-employment for immigrants.
* Information on Franchising, Lotteries and Tobacconists
* Information Desk Management, for the establishment and implementation.
* Advice on procurement forms of contracts and grants.

The mayor stressed that following the interest shown in the ADLE of new business creation in the first half of 2010 plans were created 25 companies, 16 companies involved 363 users, and 34 people were receiving the check Entrepreneur.
