This huge network of networks has become an important catalyst for both e-commerce and e-business.

Specifically, the concept of e-business “generally describes the execution of business processes, combining the powers of the Internet as global network reach with the Information Technology in support of operations. In addition, that generates dynamic options of “electronic commerce” particularly suited to improve the relationship with external actors in changing contexts.

Organizations as systems are increasingly opening their relationship to the economic, social and political context in which they are embedded. The barriers to this relationship at the level of physical aspects of it seem to be falling. The virtual relationships between different actors are having an increasing impact on laindustria and trade since the late nineteenth century.
